Opened in 2010, Aylesbury Waterside Theatre gives us the chance to experience West End productions, comedy, dance, children’s theatre and more, without leaving the town The landmark building was modelled around the undulating Chiltern Hills, and it looks even more beautiful at night with the suspended lights shining out through the glass panels at the front of the building (although we’ll have to ask them about their energy use for all of those light bulbs…). In the past they have run theatre groups for children, and the space can be used for meetings and local events. The café is open during the day, and in the evenings on performance nights.

They hold regular litter picks around the town for anyone to come along and join in, and lend out equipment for anyone who wants to go on their own litter pick.
